Flower Arranging 101

Learn about flower care, selecting flowers, processing flowers, and building arrangements at our all-inclusive D.I.Y. flower design parties. Our expert staff will teach your group to arrange a beautiful, seasonal tropical or traditional arrangements to take home or to use at your next special event. Waiahole Nursery always welcomes outside food and drinks.

Creating with Succulents
Learn about our favorite plants- succulents! This event is great fun for kids and adults, alike! Paint a decorative pot, pick-out beautiful succulents for your living arrangement, and learn how to care for your new mini garden! Practice propagating succulents, learn about proper fertilization and watering of succulent plants. Complementary refreshments and baked goods, included.

Haku Lei Design Party
|
Come spend the morning learning how to tie Lei Po'o (Hawaiian-style flower crowns) with your best friends and family. Our expert lei makers will guide you on how to tie a beautiful flower crown using orchids, ferns, and foliage from our garden. All supplies, flowers, expert instruction are included! Feel free to bring specialty flowers or items from your garden. Two great event spaces available for private workshops. One can host up-to 25 guests and is located outside. Tents and umbrellas are provided for shade.
