Waiahole Nursery Field Trip FAQ's
What should my students wear?
Students will be outside for the majority of the trip. We recommend close-toed shoes, clothing that can get a little dirty, and a hat and sunscreen to protect them from the elements. We are on the rainy side of the island, so rain jackets are also a good idea!
What do students need to bring?
Students should leave all valuables at home. We do have space to store extra bags and lunches during your trip. Water bottles are welcome.
Where should we meet?
Buses and cars can park in the gravel parking lot outside the nursery gates. One of our staff will meet you in the parking lot or on the bistro deck behind the gift shop.
How long will a field trip take?
Our field trips are designed to take 3 hours (including a 30 minute lunch break). Please contact us to schedule a custom field trip if your group would like to stay for a different amount of time.
