The Agave plant is a type of succulent that belongs to the Asparagaceae family. It is native to arid and semiarid regions of the Americas, particularly Mexico, and the Caribbean. Agave plants are characterized by their thick, fleshy leaves that often have spiky edges or tips, and can display a range of colors from green to blue-gray to variegated.
